White Sands

We loved the whole deal - close to the beach, the apartment which was comfortable and had all that we needed. There was parking right outside the door and everyone was so friendly. Lou and Tony, the owners, were very helpful with advice of where to go see and eat. The other guests were super friendly. The purpose of our trip was to go to Cape Reinga, and ninety mile beach and White Sands is ideally situated for this.

There was nothing that we didn't like. However, if you have dodgy knees the apartments are on two levels with the bedroom and bathroom being upstairs and the toilet on the ground level.

Lou and Tony are amazing hosts taking care of your every need. Perfect location in northland paradise.

Very relaxed environment not only the scenery but also our host and Other guest that were staying onsite.Our stay had that nostalgic feeling only with my wife and kids and not my Dad and siblings.Whaea Lou and Matua Tony are the real salt of the Earth people they were warm and inviting aswell as kind and accommodating to all us guest while catering for the locals that were stopping in as they used the boat landing site right next to the beach that was a hop,skip and a jump from the lodge.I would live there if I could this place in Karikari is awesome and yes I will go back again, thank you Whaea Lou and Matua Tony the trip was to entice my wife to see Far Far North and now she wants to come back with our larger tribe. You guys Rock and the kaimoana and local knowledge was very helpful until we meet again.
