Crows Hotel

Near to where our friends live, on route home from Scotland. booked at short notice (day before) Parking space available (£15) Good communication via message regarding check in.

Couldn’t open the windows, very warm. Requires a black out blind or curtains in room (9) facing high street, very hard to sleep with street lights and noise. Thank goodness it was only us parking in very tight spaces.

The location was great - very close to the train station and on one of the main streets. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable.

Because the room overlooked a main road, there was traffic into the night. Not good for light sleepers.

Comfortable rooms close to the station and good restaurant (Merchants). Very kind helpful staff.

The steps up to the outside rooms were tricky for our older companions.

Brilliant location and staff. We were able to check in early and also leave our bags after checkout. Any queries I had got very quick responses

It’s definitely seen better days and needs some maintenance e.g the sink had lots of cracks

Decent location. Room was large and comfortable.

Parking charges (£15) and the limited spaces need to be made clearer before booking - we ended up parking somewhere else. Room is on a busy road so quite noisy at night. Wifi took several attempts to access - the password listed in the room doesn't work so you need to carefully check the email from the hotel.

Bathroom very dated, on the main road so noisy all night. And could hear other people in their rooms.

On my arrival all l had to do was ring a reception telephone number to gain access to a key cupboard for entry to the Hotel and my bedroom. The bedroom was immaculate with a fully tiled toilet etc. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Lancaster.

Nothing to dislike.
