The Fishermans Cottage

What a fabulous little cottage! We only stayed a couple of nights but it was clean, comfortable, warm and cosy. Great kitchen with everything you need in it, plenty of room in the lounge/diner. Main bedroom was roomy and cosy, bathroom fabulous and even the spare bedroom at the back was a great size. Great to have an outside space to sit in, though the weather prevented this for us, and a parking space at the back was really handy. The pub down the road is small but friendly, the Honesty Shop was brilliant and we bought from there. Great location, not far at all from Criccieth and lovely walks by the river on our doorstep, and a great little place to go fishing just 3/4 mile away. The cottage gives off a calm, friendly atmosphere and we could have stayed there permanently - in fact this is the EXACT kind of property we are looking for to retire to in mid Wales! Thoughtful touches like the dog biscuits and towel, the little bits of condiments left, and the quirky but fabulous decoration of the property means this is on our favourite list and we want to return.

Second time at The Fishermans Cottage! We love this little place, clean, great layout, comfortable beds, all facilities you need, great for dogs, easy check in, right by the river, what more could you ask for.

Fab cottage in a stunning location! We chose this place as we were attending a wedding 3min down the road and needed somewhere dog friendly. The cottage has been renovated beautifully and with very good taste. Equipped with everything you could need, (even a dishwasher!!) and had some lovely touches from our hosts, like Welsh cakes, fresh orange juice and even dog treats! The area is stunning but as we didn't get much time to explore, we're already planning our next visit! Our host Christine was a pleasure to deal with and very friendly. Highly recommend!

The cottage was lovely and cosy in a very peaceful location. The beds were super comfy and the shower was great. All communication was friendly and informative. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

Beautiful little house - really clean and great location, just a few mins drive from Criccieth. We checked in after a long walk in Snowdonia and had a lovely time :)

Parking was a little tricky as we have a big car, but a great amenity to have.

Beautiful cottage with lots of character. Everything was immaculately clean. Kitchen was well equipped Wifi worked well Very quiet Perfect for 2 or 3 people (a squeeze for 4)

Was woken up at 5am each morning due to bedroom blinds letting too much light in Bit annoying I had to go out and buy washing detergent to wash my clothes. Unfortunately bbc 1 free to air Chanel didn’t work. Owner did their best to fix it. Could only heat the house for an hour, before it turned off again
