"Beautiful dog-friendly cottage in northern Wales"

10.0

The beautiful property is towards the end of a long row of old cottages across the road from the River Dwyfor. It had a lovely walk nearby with an area for dogs and children to play by the river. The house was lovely and spacious with an enclosed patio garden in the rear. Two good size bedrooms (with comfy beds) and a family bath upstairs. Large kitchen and a large dining table. My son was grateful for the TV. :) Everything was clean and fresh with new carpets. It had a baby gate to put across the bottom stairs to keep animals and children safe from upstairs. There is parking along the small road in front of the property and also parking to the rear of the property down a separate lane. The village is known for being the hometown of prime minister David Lloyd George, who was prime minister during the First World War. His home is attached to a lovely museum that is crammed with much about his life. They even took us into the family house in the back to see where his family lived with his uncle after David's English father died when he was little. Dog-friendly and child friendly. They had a basket in the kitchen with dog treats, bowls, a poo bag, and an old towel to wipe my puppy's paws when we would come in from a walk. They also had an elderberry drink and some Welsh cakes for the humans in our party. I would return again as everything was great!

Nothing. I loved it here.
