Villa Alpina Campiglio

Mooi gelegen met schitterend uitzicht op de Brenta Dolomiti en erg rustig. De toegangsweg naar het appartement van 2 km is inderdaad erg smal, maar in de zomer goed te doen. In geval van een tegenligger (is in 1 week 1 keer gebeurd) moet je wel even met elkaar afstemmen over het manoeuvreren. De parkeerplaats was gelukkig niet heel ver weg en bij in- en uitladen kan je de auto ook nog een stuk doorrijden.

Helaas heeft de glazen pui geen mogelijkheid om 's nachts verduisterd te worden. Het bed staat verder tegen een schuin dak waardoor je niet goed rechtop kan zitten. Voor een 'DeLuxe'-appartement had er wel wat meer en beter keukengerei mogen zijn. Ook het plastic zeil over de eettafel en het kleed over de bank doet de uitstraling wat teniet. Toegang tot het balkon is direct naast de buren zodat er wel inkijk van de anderen in de woonkamer mogelijk is.

Estremamente disagevole la strada, veramente molto stretta e sinuova, per raggiungere la frazione di Fogajard, ma diciamo che essendo in montagna *ci sta..."

La "camera da letto" sul soppalco è insopportabilmente troppo calda e non c'è modo di rinfrescare l'ambiente. Abbiamo dovuto comprare un ventilatore, rivelatosi decisamente insufficiente, per cercare di sopravvivere in qualche modo alle nottate soffocanti.

The place is located at the end of a very narrow road, and offers peace and queit. It is new and super clean, and well equiped for cooking. The view to the mountains takes your breath away.

Mind the small print- linnens and towels come at a surcharge (advertised on site).

The apartment is nicely located in a very quiet place.

The road to the place, however, is super-narrow and parking is also not always easy there. I always paid attention to not finish dinner outside too late to avoid going back the narrow road in the darkness. The kitchen could be better equipped. The beds in the bedroom are very comfy, the converted living room sofa is a very un-comfy bed and takes up all the space in the living room when used. The welcome was very much on the cooler end.

Fantastic property with a beautiful view over the mountains. It was snowing during our stay and the view was magical. The apartment is located about a mile from the main road and because we did not have 4x4 car or winter tyres we parked up the road (about 15 min walk from the apartment) which we did not mind as the walk to the apartment from the car park was just stunning, filled with lovely views ;). The owners were friendly and very helpful, they offered to take our luggage in their car on our last day. It snowed quite a bit during the week we stayed there and as I wasn’t able to drive the car near the apartment it would have been a hard work to carry the suitcases so that was very helpful. There are some stunning walks through the forest to Madonna so Campiglio and to Pinzolo which makes wife really enjoyed so if you aren’t that much into skiing there is Planty of options for trekking. The fireplace adds a charm to the place and the owners provided us with logs. The place is very nicely decorated, everything seemed new. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. There is plenty of space to accommodate a family of 4. It is a short drive to both Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, so plenty of options for skiing.
