Robins Rest

EVERYTHING! Robins Rest is just magical - I would absolutely recommend more than 1 night to enjoy this hidden gem! Fantastic communication and welcome. It was just the best place to recharge after travelling around Ireland and to prepare for the next leg of the journey. Our 2 year old was living his best life during our stay here and had the best fun in such a kind, caring, welcoming place! Thank you ever so much :)

As good as ever.

Everything was perfect. We stayed at Robin’s Rest, a charming wooden cottage, and it was an unforgettable experience. Jenny, our host, was truly exceptional – thoughtful, kind, and always ready to help. Her warm welcome and genuine care made us feel completely at home. The cottage is gorgeous, and so is the garden, but I'd like to share something a bit different. During our week in Ireland, we stayed in four different places. This cottage was the only one where we actually saw and chatted with a person. I know, I know, we're totally in the age of key lockers and digital messages. But honestly, we've been to a couple of spots where they've seen us pull up in the car and didn't even give us a wave! Luckily there's Jenny, who puts her heart and soul into making you feel right at home. A huge thank you, Jenny, for your incredible generosity and all those thoughtful little touches. We really hope to come back someday! P.S. Maggie the dog is super sweet and gentle ❤️

Everything was perfect :)

The cabin was carefully decorated and had everything possibly needed (even a hair mask!). The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious, equipped with a nice homemade bread. There are restaurants and pubs within 20min driving, which was perfect for dinner.

Cosy country retreat and a beautiful host

It was a little out of town, but you need a car to get there so this is no problem, only a short drive.

We felt right at home from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Jenny prepared a delicious breakfast and made my secret dream come true meeting the sheep!

Jenny was an exceptional host. As well as the property being very comfortable and in a picturesque location, Jenny helped us with information and any other request we may have had. An excellent stay 👌

Wonderful property with an amazing host, Jenny was just lovely and so helpful. The soda bread was delicious. The flat has everything you need. Had a great stay.
