Our stay was an extremely negative experience. The value for money is disastrous and the services are far below what is advertised. Every morning we were woken up by the employees’ children playing football in the living area or shouting loudly. The housekeeping staff also felt entitled to knock on our door without any valid reason. It was impossible to rest properly. The generator is deliberately turned off every day from 1 pm to 6 pm. During this time, there is no electricity, no Wi-Fi, and no water. This is a conscious decision by the property, whereas in all the other hotels we stayed at in Zanzibar, the generator ran continuously. Even outside of these hours, we experienced water shortages, including in the evening and one entire night. We had to wash our hair using water from the toilet bidet, which is completely unacceptable. There is also a serious security concern: the security guard enters the accommodation and explicitly asks us to leave the door open when we go out. We felt more unsafe because of the guard than protected by his presence. When we simply asked if the generator could be turned on one hour earlier, the situation escalated. The owner became extremely aggressive and disrespectful. He clearly told us, and I quote: “You are the clients, it is up to you to obey.” At 9 pm, he told us to leave the hotel and to “get out.” His wife hung up on us on the phone. One employee told us, “Now you go to the bank,” followed us in the street to make sure we were going there, while adding extra fees and taxes that were not mentioned. After the payment was completed, housekeeping stopped cleaning our room. In summary: total lack of professionalism, absence of essential services, aggressive behavior, security concerns, and highly questionable financial practices. For a similar price, you can easily find much better accommodation in Zanzibar, with professional service and even breakfast included.

Not so easy to find, no signboards, not even on the gate. No credit card machine on the premises.

My 10-year-old daughter and I stayed at the villa for five nights and really enjoyed our stay! We had a room overlooking the pool, which we appreciated as we were almost the only ones using it. (Only three rooms in the villa — a bonus!) Although the interior is a little dated, the rooms and communal areas (kitchen, living room) were very clean, thanks to Deborah, who takes great care of the villa. We could always reach out to her if we needed anything; she was amazing! The villa is perfectly situated near the beach, the restaurants and all the souvenir shops. There is also a 24-hour market around the corner. The area is very quiet and safe, thanks to the security guard at night. I would definitely stay there again!

Amazing facility with exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was very accommodating, the shared living room with kitchen, fridges and a bunch of utilities were a positive surprise. The pool and their dog were another highlight! Rooms and bathroom were really big too.

On booking, it said check out was at midnight but actually it was at 11am. Everyone was kind enough to give us some extra time to pack up.

This is a gem if you are looking for clean and inexpensive place for longer stays. It is a classical guest house with shared kitchen and sitting area. It even has a swimming pool. All at a very reasonable price.

The common sitting area is very well equipped inviting to spend time together with other guests. At the same time guest rooms did not have place to sit except for the bed. Rooms are large enough to accommodate some more furniture.

Ein ruhiges und komfortables Guesthouse wenn man den Preis bedenkt. Alles ist sehr sauber!!! Das Personal ist total freundlich. Immer ist ein/e AnsprechpartnerIn da. Ein großer Kühlschrank steht für die Gäste zur Verfügung. Am Pool gibt es vier Liegen und der Pool ist sauber. Die Zimmer sind groß und geschmackvoll. Viele kleine Regale als Ablagefläche. Das Bad ist auch groß und alles vorhanden (Fön, Duschgel, Shampoo etc) Die Ausstattung der Küche ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber es ist alles da was man braucht an Küchenutensilien in mehrfacher Ausführung. Der Strand ist gleich um die Ecke und auch viele Restaurants. Gemütliche und große Wohnecke für die Gäste

Das WLAN ist unzuverlässig. Es sollte dringend ein Schild an das Tor sonst ist es schwer zu finden!!!!!!
