Fynbos Barn

Everything, house and location were ideal for our visit and security very kind and helpful.

Nothing, maybe that it was a very short stay.

We have loved every minute of our stay at Fynbos barn, the private beach and seeing the zebra and eland. We had the use of the private beach and the house was fully equipped with everything you would ever need.

The location was spectacular, I mean how often do you get to see wildlife like zebra simply roaming the property unconstrained! The smell of fynbos in the air every morning and the beautiful views in every direction without feeling to be on top of your neighbours, was an added bonus. The house had everything you could ask for and was very comfortable - a cosy reading nook was another plus.

A few minor bug bears, whilst the braai area was clean and some firewood was provided, the grid and equipment wasn't clean from the previous occupant nor where there firelighters provided. Similarly dishwasher tablets and roller towel was in short supply. Some of the cutlery was damaged by previous guests

Very modern and beautiful designed house. The house spoils one with beautiful amenities and a nice living and entertaining area - especially for braai's and gathering around the table while once is cooking or watching TV. The fynbos surrounding the house and estate is magnificent and the walk ways through the estate and to the beach. This house is ideal for a break away from the hustle and bustle and to also work remotely as it offers a lovely small study room with a window overlooking the fynbos and ocean in the far distance.

Isolated and developing estate which was disturbing during our stay with many construction on the neighbor property and opposite. It can be quite spooky at night especially when experiencing Load Shedding and the house does not have an inverter to provide electricity on load shedding. The bathrooms does not have any window covering (i.e. a blind, curtain, black out) , you are completely exposed when showering:) Again at night with the complete darkness around the house, we found it uncomfortable to shower and use the bathrooms.

Location good lovely scenery of the fynbos and the Zebras and buck made the day.
