"The worst holiday rental we have experienced in our 40+ years of hiring."

2.0

Ideal location with close proximity to the town (it is situated in the High Street) and the beach which is just 100 yards away.

The house was generally grubby and dirty; in places it was filthy. All windows were dirty both inside and out. Large cobwebs on the INSIDE. Bedroom furniture was all 1950's, tatty, damaged and in extremely poor condition. Double beds were small and the photos show them as bigger than they actually are. I would have expected the "garden" to have been tidy and tended; it was overgrown and yukky. (The garden runs the length of the back of the house and is just over a metre wide). The standard of decoration was appalling with paint splashes everywhere. The kitchen flooring was very badly marked and the wooden flooring (probably the original flooring) was damaged, very poorly fitting, split in places and any varnish had worn away over most of the area. There is a lot more to say but I need to compose a very strong complaint and a request for a refund (this was not a cheap price to hire), compensation and an apology.
