Garden View

The hosts were absolutely perfect, they were welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. The bed was extremely comfortable, the whole place was spotlessly clean, the views of the garden were stunning. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing break.

There really was nothing that we didn’t like. The village is beautiful, the house is amazing, the grounds are stunning and the whole weekend was perfect. Jackie the host was fantastic from start to finish. We highly recommend this property.

Nothing, the property was perfect. Just a couple of small things that would make it a 10+ : 1) Recliner or outdoor sofa would be an amazing addition 2) Entrance to the drive is a little tricky (signage and reduce the shrubs on the fence line would make it perfect) We absolutely loved our stay FYI and found it very difficult to find fault with anything.

Well equipped and spacious

Our host was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is full of sunshine and overlooks a lovely garden that runs down to a pond. Great bed, excellent shower, comfortable living space. We very much appreciated the jam and butter and biscuits etc that were provided for us.

The kitchenette is quite limited, suitable for cooking an egg or reheating pre-made food but not for anything complicated. However for most people this shouldn’t be a bother as there are good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Fully equipped accommodation ( nice touches like fresh milk, tea & coffee, breakfast croissants with butter and jam), very clean and comfortable and beautiful garden

The setting was serene, a far cry from the bustle of home, and just what we needed. The furniture was very comfortable. We liked the croissants and such that were left for us, meaning we could relax that bit more both mornings. But we are truly grateful to the owners for kindly offering us a lift to a nearby venue, at which we were due to attend a wedding reception - this was above and beyond!

It is very difficult default as it met all the needs of our two-day stay. The external door could do with a doorstop as it was lovely having the fresh breeze but not so lovely having to get up every so often when the door kept shutting: I used my shoes in the end. The wi-fi doesn’t work when in the bedroom.
