Casa Cactus

Quiet area, garden, private parking in the garden, Pisa is close, Livorno is 25 minutes. Self check-in. Air conditioning. Owner let us check in early (for an extra €20). Neighbors are friendly. Outside is nice, but hot in the summer.

The smell inside is the smell of an old house which is not ventilated. There was black mold under all the window sills. I had to clean them myself, which was disgusting. There is more mold on the walls in the hallway and some in the rooms. The linens should be washed more often, because they had storage smell form being kept inside the house too long. We had to buy new linen to be able to sleep comfortably. The shower cabin has a lot of rust. Cleaning staff was not thorough. The fridge needs cleaning, it is rusty and smelly. There are cameras watching the yard, table, bench, not just the gates, which makes me wonder if there are any more cameras elsewhere.

Everything is ready. We felt like at home. My wife liked the kitchen most of all where you can make anything you want. The host was responsive so fast for any questions. Spacious room with such low price!!!

Finding the house was not so easy since it is located at the end of the apartment. Unless you are skilled driver, parking at the public place in front of the apartment is recommended. Safe and quiet place.

Very spacious and good house. We felt at home.

Everything was perfect. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. I have no complaints at all. We hope to come back again soon. It truly felt like home.
