Stonefish Inn Jambiani

Stone Fish Inn is simple home. Said is a wonderful host that tells you everything you need to have the perfect journey in Jambiani and Zanzibar. We'll never thank him enough for advising us to make the Zanzibar driving (motorbike) permit. Each morning the breakfast was amazing and also the food he provides for dinner (on request) is perfect. Perfect location, perfect management and absolutely perfect Said. Incredible value for money.

Big breakfast, and all the people were so nice and kind. Beautiful position, 2 minutes to the beach, in the village, where you can enjoy and join the local life. So quiet, simple room and bathroom, and it’s possible to have lunch or dinner there. And also book trips around the island, Said would recommend you all the best!

I will be totally transparent about my review. If you’re looking for a luxury property with all kinds of amenities and facilities, this is not your place. However, these 4 days in Stonefish have been unique in terms of the local perspective I got. The hard-working entrepreneur lifestyle the owner Said has is insane, from early morning ‘til late night, non-stop. Location is great for Jambiani beach, price is unbeatable, breakfast is tasty and he’s really helpful. All the best, man!

Constructively, I will note down the points of improvement whenever your business starts running more smoothly. For hot months, even if might be an expensive cost, a more powerful fan/AC would be appreciated. Also, getting a better lock for the room door will help the guest keep more privacy. Finally, when you build the 6 rooms you told me, it wilk be a game changer. By promoting your restaurant more, you might get that extra income needed for those small stuff! Great job, brother!

We had a great stay at the Stonefish Inn! Said is a lovely host and helped us with everything we needed. He even taught us some local customs to get around on the island 😉 We had dinner at his place twice and the fresh fish was amazing. The room was good, located at a one minute walk to the beach.

Nice big room with toilet and shower, big bed with mosquito net. Amazing breakfast with fruits, honey, Nutella, pancakes, egg, juice, coffe or tea! For the price this Place Is unbeatable. Said the owner was very helpful and the Cook and staff were very friendly.

At this price there Is nothing not to like!
