Great host always ready to help answer questions and he made us feel quite welcome on his property. This is a family run property and everyone seems service oriented. The breakfast wasn’t a a large assortment but we found it wholesome with a choice of eggs ,bread, fruits, cold cuts , porridge and also the tea/ coffee counter is always on . Rooms were decent sized and clean ( so were the linens ). Registon square entrance was approx a 10 min walk from this property - this feature ( location) stood out for us for sure .

The house is in a narrow alley - that didn’t bother us not the cab drivers . We just walked out a few mins to book our cabs so save the drivers time from navigating the by lanes immediately leading to the house .

Family run hotel. Very well equipped and elegant. Everyone tried very hard to make us feel comfortable in their hotel. Perfect location - very close to Registan. Very rich breakfast - every day there was something different warm to eat.

We missed air conditioning. At night it was no problem, because in Samarkand it cools down even in August, but during the day it was a bit of an inconvenience.

Great location and friendly and helpful family staff

No kettle in room for morning coffee (carry my own) have to go to lobby for hot water. No phone in room, no T.v in room, wi-fi is sparatic. Cash Only.. no credit cards

The "double" bed was 2 single beds put together and wasn't that comfortable to stay with a partner.

The hosts are so hospitable and the place is really clean. We enjoyed our visit, they made us feel completely at home.

The hotel is great: I find that it`s expensive for Uzbekistan, but you get the best conditions there. It is located right at the center, the rooms are spacious, the design is luxurious, the bathrooms are great, clean and new. Breakfast is included and it is healthy, nice and filling. You can always use the boiler to make hot tea, take bottled water, there are also cookies and candies on the table. The host and his family have a great and very personal approach, always ask if everything is fine. We were able to pay with rubles (using google exchange rate), they also accept dollars or, obviously, sums. They checked us in a few hours earlier and also allowed us to leave our bags with them for a few hours after we checked out and went out on the last day.

We had no problems with this, our window was opening to the street, but 2/3 of the rooms have windows opening into the hall of the building with no access to fresh air. I can`t imagine now this would feel in the heat

The greating was very warm.. Soon we entered we were greated with Tea. They were not all about money it spoke about hospitality and how warmly we were treated. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone visiting Sumerkhand nd also this is near to the airport and Registan, bibi-khayun, silk road extra...

There was absolutely nothing not to like

Even if I wrote about my arrival time (4:00 am) and my flight number when I booked the room (1 month earlier), when we arrived there they didn’t have the room available because they sell it in the evening because they didn’t see us (they said). Their solution was to let us sleep in a run-down guest house nearby or to wait until someone leaves a room. When I got really angry (after 20 hours trip) they found an other accommodation and the owner said we wouldn’t pay the first night (meanwhile it was 5:30 am). When we left, after 3 days, he disappeared, leaving his kid alone at the reception. They were really kind during our stay but they really need to improve the organization and to learn some English

The place is family owned, feels like you are visiting your friends. Very hospitable, location is great, breakfasts were nice.
