Not per se something I didn't like as was actually hoping to be away from the business of things for a bit but it is quite far out from Calicut. Not a deal breaker for me as there are still lots of nice restaurants and a lovely walk along the river there but worth knowing!

One of the best homestays we have visited, its near to national highway in pooladikunnu, a clean hygenic and safe place for tourist and people visiting. Calm and soothening ambience was appreciable. Wifi and geyser was also available.. Hoping to visit again soon

I loved my stay here.It's a complete 2 BHK apartment.It is located in a very calm corner near a river on the outskirts of the city.Thehost Jilshoy is always prompt to respond to the queries.Mice restaurants are nearby and the walk on the riverside is beautiful.Its a great value for money stay!

The wifi signal was good in the drawing room but not in the bedroom.Can do with a mosquito repellent.

🏠 About the accomodation: Neat and simple, the owner has arranged for a comfortable stay. Plenty of filtered water available, as well as soap and towels. Rarely found: room mosquito repellent. 😍 Location is fantastic, despite being outside Calicut. 15min auto from the city but close to the beautiful and less know beaches north of of the city. 🌟 👤 About the host: Jilshoy, the MD who runs this home stay, takes a great care that his guests are satisfied. He had the hard task to welcome me on my first trip to India. He helped with everything, from organizing transportation, to getting and Indian mobile number and game me plenty of good tips and advices on how to best enjoy my visit. He is indeed such a pleasant company, I wish I had more time available to enjoy with him. 🤝 Would I come back there? Absolutely! In fact, I have already planned a follow up visit!

🗺️ Location (Elathur) is not central to the city center. That was perfect for me, but it may put off some types of travellers. Regardless, Jilshoy will arrange all transportation from and to Elathur.

The host Dr. Jilshoy was so supportive and caring, He frequently checked if I was comfortable and needed any help!I really liked the place . Easy access to city and hotels even with public transportation. Completely satisfied with the stay. Highly recommend 🤩 many tourists places around especially kappad beach ..

One of my friend had already visited this property & booking was done through him . It’s a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there.Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner.Staff was extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again Owner also guided and arranged a taxi for sightseeing, it really helped us to see calicut within a short time frame

Ac in one room would be recommended

It's second time I have been staying at Ocean pearl home stay related to work, & I liked the clean and hygienic rooms which were well ventilated. Fish food at the home stay were really yummy 😋 The owner was really sportive & helpful . As a girl I really felt safe & secure.
