Bahari Beach Bungalows

Beautiful location, fantastic staff and food. Was perfect for a week of relaxation and kitesurfing which was just down the beach. Stefania and her family run this place so well and couldn’t be more helpful. Small but with everything.

The beds are very firm so this might not be to everyone’s taste.

Stéphania et son équipe sont extrêmement gentils et disponible. Le lieu est magnifique et calme. La vue sur la plage est superbe. Le restaurant ainsi que les petits déjeuner (mention spéciale aux jus de fruits à la confiture maison) et sont très bons. Les bengalows sont très beaux et confortables.

Location is bad, nothing around and what is most important - ocean is totally not suitable for swimming. No matter high or low tide; too much weed.

Stefania and her team has made every effort to make guest feel at home . We felt at home too. Amazing, laid-back vibes, well thought-out cuisine and service, very good pizza also! Unfortunately we had booked only two nights. We should have known better!

Unfortunately we had booked only two nights. We should have known better! Had we stayed more, we would have gained considerably more weight. The tides affect Jambiani, as the entire east coast as well, so you need to keep an eye for the tide times if you are into swimming.

Calm place for a relaxing stay! Amazing Italian owner with a mother that runs the kitchen. Pizza is the best on the island and the breakfast was great! Amazing staff. They really go the extra mile to make sure you have a good stay. The rooms are were clean, well equipped and very pretty! WiFi was 10/10. Power outages were no problem, as their generator was up and going within seconds!

This place was amazing - clean rooms with good wifi + AC + hair dryer and it was right on the beach. The food was also really good! The host, Stefania, is from Italy so their pizza and pasta was delicious. She was very kind and welcoming, we had a super late flight and she let us hang around and use their bathroom + shower until we had to leave! I would definitely stay here again!

Хороший, уютный, итальянский отель с отличным недорогим рестораном. Большая комната с кондиционером, хороший завтрак, много полотенец. Внимательная , приятная хозяйка, все просьбы аккуратно исполнялись. Вечером в ресторане играла живая музыка и выступали акробаты.

Растворимый кофе на завтрак, есть возможность заказать эспрессо из капсульной кофе машины. В море напротив отеля было много водорослей, ходили немного в сторону, чтоб искупаться.

Another day in Paradise, would sing Phil Collins… Second stay at Bahari Bungalows and same good vibes that the first time. Everything was perfect, the room is comfortable and spacious with all you need, the restaurant really good, the staff is adorable and the atmosphere so peaceful and easygoing, with the Indian Ocean to your feet. And there is Stefania, the owner. She is the soul of Bahari Bungalows & Restaurant and working hard (with her mum and the same staff for years) to make you feel at home, always with her big smiles and singing italian accent. The result is something unique, that makes you truly feel in a little paradise. A big thanks for all, can’t wait to come back again 😊🩵💚

Tolles Personal. Für Sansibar nicht selbstverständlich. Stefania und ihr Team sind super gastfreundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir haben noch in zwei anderen Unterkünften auf Sansibar übernachtet. Es lässt sich also gut vergleichen, dass Service und Gastfreundlichkeit hier wirklich besonders und herzlich sind. Überall wo wir hingekommen sind, kennen die Leute die tolle Pizza im Bahari Beach. Auch alle anderen Essen wie Penne Ragu, Chapati mit Hummus usw. sind super. Preis-Leistung super. Es fehlt leider ein Pool. Dann wäre es perfekt. Aber man kann auch direkt im Meer vor der Anlage gut baden.

Es ist toll, dass die Anlage einen Generator hat. Bei den häufigen Stromausfällen auf Sansibar sollte man darauf achten. Allerdings ist er auch etwas laut. Aber besser Generatorengeräusch als 30 Grad auf dem Zimmer :)
