Harmony Hoian Homestay

Hosts/ owners: Very welcoming and friendly. Room: Everything you would expect for the price. Clean, quite large, good bathroom, and a very nice balcony, too. Location: Very good, walking distance to everything, plus it's away from the massive crowds, which is a good thing. Very nice new bar down the road that's well worth checking out.

Very minor thing here: The soundproofing in the room isn't that good, so you do hear a fair bit of horns, etc. It's an older building, so it's to be expected in all honesty. It wouldn't put me off staying again, which I'll likely be doing next time I'm there!

Vị trí homestay rất tuyệt, chỉ 5 phút đi bộ là tới phố cổ. Dù tuyến phố chứa homestay nằm ngoài ranh giới khu vực được công nhận là di sản thế giới nhưng giá trị kiến trúc của nó cũng rất đáng chú ý với nhưng ngôi nhà mang phong cách kiến trúc đầu thế kỷ 20. Mình đặt 1 phòng giường queen trên tầng 2 với giá chưa đầy 15USD - quá rẻ đối với 1 phòng ngủ khá rộng rãi, sạch sẽ và có cửa sổ nhìn ra bên ngoài. Chủ nhà khá thân thiện và gần gũi, mình check out muộn gần 1h nhưng vẫn vui vẻ và không tính thêm tiền.

Khi ra ngoài, nên mở cửa sổ để phòng thông thoáng hơn. Nhưng nếu có mưa bất chợt thì nước mưa có thể hắt vào phòng qua cửa sổ.

Located close to Old Town, cafes, river and markets.

I don’t know if all rooms are the same but I got a very damp, mouldy room with a damp odour both in the room and on bedding, and ended up sick for my week in Hoi An. A proper steam fan in the bathroom is badly needed to dry the room out after showering. There was also construction over the road starting early in the mornings. Air con and lamp also didn’t work. An uncomfortable week even though the location was good.

Nothing to dislike really

Nice clean rooms, in the quiet part next to old town. There is a tailor shop downstairs and they make great clothes. It is run by a lovely couple. Spacious room.
