Really enjoyed my stay at Aga Cottage. The cottage was very cosy, warm and comfortable with lots of nice thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack, toiletries, set fire etc Located in a quiet area yet close to shops, parks and restaurants, I couldn't ask for more..

The proprietor provided milk bread eggs crisps and tea and coffee This was a lovely gesture. We enjoyed making our own porridge on the Aga cooker in a homely ambience too. Our group of 3 relaxed in a beautifully appointed house which was welcoming comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bedrooms are very well equipped. The bedlinen is of a high standard with lots of lovely rugs as extras. We liked the large collection of books and magazines in the sitting room too

While there is Wifi available, we couldn't get connected but that didn't matter as we had more time to read!

"Lovely stay!"

The place looks new, luxurious and clean. Friendly and attentive host. She even left some groceries for us to use. The kitchen is equipped with a luxurious Aga cooker which is left on 24/7 and spreads pleasant warmth; a fridge; a dishwasher; plenty of plates, pots, cutlery, etc. The upper floor has 2 bedrooms with double beds, plus a bathroom which includes a bath and a toilet. The ground floor has a kitchen, living room and a bathroom which includes a shower and a toilet.

Kitchen amenities which were missing: A toaster and a microwave. No hangers for clothes near the shower, and also no dedicated surface to put the soap and shampoo inside the shower. The stairs between the floors were steep, but there's a good carpet on them which prevents slipping.

This little gem is now on our radar and we can’t wait to return. Having family nearby means that we travel over to visit frequently and now we’ve found Aga Cottage - it really is a home from home. Pamela has thought of EVERY single detail that guests could want. Alongside that the cottage is beautifully thought through and simply gorgeous inside. Thank you for a wonderful and easy stay. "calm relaxing atmosphere with all the little comforts"

The decor was like a boutique hotel, but it was the little touches that made it great - candles with candle-lighters, treats for the dog, good books on the shelf, local spring water in the fridge…. It was a pleasure to stay there!
