Luxury studio apartment by the station

Apartment was close to city centre, clean, warm and comfortable

We parked at the recommended parking option, upon trying to leave we were blocked in by a car boot sale! No signage to tell us this was happening so we were stuck for a few hours. This is a long standing boot sale and we should have been warned to park next to the exit to enable us to leave.

It was very close to the station, making it convenient for travel. Euston apartment is what we stayed in and it had good basic facilities with tea and coffee (no decaf) and small stylish functional rooms. The floor was heated and you can control it via the system in the bedroom which kept the room at a cosy temperature, The shower is large and little products provided for use. The kitchen is easily accessible and equipped with a fridge, oven and microwave. Basic utensils and cutlery provided which was handy. The apartment had an electrical locking system which was great as I am forgetful. Overall a good stay.

It wasn’t clean to what you would expect. There was a dead spider hanging in the kitchen ceiling along with thick long cobwebs of dust. The toaster had not been cleaned after previous use and crumbs were all over the side. The floor wasn’t hoovered in the bedroom and there was pubic hair, dust and dirt on the floor. The bathroom drain smells strongly in the morning. The bed was appealing to the eye but not comfortable, the bed was hard and has a spring sticking out of the right side of the mattress right where you lay. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on and there was no alternative but we made do. For £60 it can be expected, but definitely don’t like the dead spider and pubes lol. As an assistant manager for an IHG hotel I can be a little picky as I expect more from my team especially by two cleaners. But it was a good stay nonetheless, just not very clean.

Nice comfortable bed. Nice shower and kitchen too.

There was no parking. No easy place for 2 or more people to eat.

I couldn't stay, even when l paid, because l wanted to check in 10pm, and the customer service said l will have to pay extra money, and also a 150 pounds , which will be refunded 7- 10 days time. Which was strange to me, as a did not see that at booking. Com. And it was non - refunded, l lost my money to them.
