Loved the pool and the rooms and staff. Being in the trees is amazing!

It would be nice if coffee was provided given the remote location. But you can get it in the little town 10 min away too.

This is a jungle paradise retreat. Surrounded by lush trees and the sounds of wild animals, the tranquility and serenity of this place were unparalleled. There’s quiet luxury in every detail: the natural materials of the houses, the design, the small self-service wine cellar, the natural pool, and the fact that the whole place is self-sufficient. It truly felt like being a part of nature; the place is built to make you follow its’ rythm. We were so stunned by its’ beauty we ended up extending our stay! During our visit, the lovely caretaker Arturo greeted us on his moped and warmly guided us to the property late at night, instantly making us feel at home. He was truly attentive and friendly during our stay - even making us breakfast because we hadn’t noticed this is a self-service accommodation. If you’re seeking a secluded but comfortable place to escape and recharge, this is for you! Strongly recommend. Just flawless.

It's worth noting that this place doesn’t serve food, so be sure to utilize the spacious kitchen and remember to bring your own groceries. A suggestion to the host is to arrange for a small supply of basic groceries and food at a cost, or to ensure clearer communication about the lack of access to food in the information provided. At the same time, this lack of commercialism adds to the sense of disconnection from the outside world, allowing you to immerse yourself in the tranquility and fully embrace the natural beauty of this jungle paradise. Which is what we really loved! Also, finding this hidden gem is almost impossible. However, nestled deep in the Mayan jungle adds to its charm and exclusivity. If you're having trouble locating it, search for "Aldea Coral" on Google Maps and then follow the instructions provided by the host. And don’t go late at night! :)

This is a unique, unconventional place to stay. We saw spider monkeys, toucans, and many other interesting animals right in the hotel's yard. It was incredible that even sitting outside on the balcony in the evening there were no mosquitoes. We were alone in the whole place, so it was a really unique experience. The fast and stable Starlink internet in the middle of the jungle was another pleasant surprise (especially considering that there is almost no mobile phone coverage there). Special thanks to the housekeeper, Arturo, who was very attentive and always ready to help.

There was no comfortable outdoor seating available on the entire area. A few comfortable benches to chill out on would be great.

Difficult to reach, very remote. 20 minutes of terrible roads to the next civilized area. Host was not there to open the gate for us, despite pre advised arrival time. We were lucky to have a data plan to reach out via Whatsapp to gain entry. Suggestion: post wifi code on outside door. Dirty apartment with sand and many hairs all over the floor. Pool not cleaned. We booked only half a day in advance
