CAV MOTTENO

We arrived later in the evening than planned but the host arrived with a smile and showed everything in the apartment. The place is spacious, very comfortable, fully equipped with everything one may need. Very clean, shiny bathroom and bed linen. There's a small balcony overlooking the yard with a beautiful view of the mountains where I enjoyed my coffee in silence. The host was also flexible and allowed us checking out a bit later than the normal hour as we were tired after the long journey We are highly satisfied and strongly recommend the apartment.

Great place to spend time near Como lake.

The apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely kind and helpful, making sure we had what we needed. There’s a great walk-in shower, and I personally loved the cozy armchair – perfect for relaxing. Parking is available just a one-minute walk from the apartment, which was very convenient. Overall, the place was clean, comfortable, and had a lot of character.

While the host was lovely, we would have preferred a self check-in option for more flexibility and privacy – it just suits our travel style better. The walls are quite thin, so we had to use white noise on our phone at night to block out sounds from neighboring units. Despite these small things, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

"The location was ideal for exploring the other villages around Lake Como. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

As a host, Marco was outstanding! All inquiries were promptly answered The apartment was supplied with everything required for a comfortable stay.The kitchen had modern appliances which all worked and facilitated any cooking one might desire to do while staying there. An Italian coffee machine and the beans added a nice touch. The Wi-fi speed was good and the TV channels were numerous ;Disney and Prime were included.. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. The bathroom was like a magazine showpiece with its modern fixtures.Water pressure and temperature were easily controlled. The outstanding unique asset of Cav Motteno was a functional fireplace in the sitting room.In addition,Marco kept us supplied with wood since we burned wood every night we were there . The location was superb since there were many pastry shops and eating places within walking distance.Free parking was also available nearby.The town ,itself, sits nestled in high mountains and on the shoreline of Lake Como; it is an impressive sight and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If we return to this region ,Cav Motteno will definitely be our first choice of a place to stay.Afterall,how can one beat the combination of an outstanding host,comfortable living facilities,and picturesque location?

While not really a "dislike" because we knew this in advance, one must be able to climb a flight of stairs to access the apartment which is a one level above the street entrance...The climb is definitely worth it!
