Ponca Motel

My husband was having surgery and the location was fairly close to the surgery center.

All it was, was a bed, a table and chair, and a mini fridge and microwave. That’s it! The floor looked like it needed to be replaced, the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around it, there was only enough soap for 1 person and when we were at the surgery center and mentioned where we stayed, we were told that place was known for being used… by the hour!

Nothing at all!

Where should I start…I could write a whole book about it. It looked completely worn down from the outside, but of course you should never judge a book by its cover. In that case you better should. Room was a complete joke. Not even close to what it looked online while doing the booking. They offer rooms with fake pictures to get bookings. The bed was disgusting with old sheets and some stains on it, smelling two. All the furniture was broken and full with holes, scratches etc. Dust, dirt and spots all over. No window in the room. The bathroom I could not have used at all, so dirty and disgusting it was. The toilet was not even mounted properly to the floor, it was moving the soon you touched it. Found a dead cockroach on the floor too! As I saw at other reviews, the owners always say no it’s not true, we are clean and everything…. But it’s just not true. All the bad reviews are 100 percent true. I wish we would have red it more carefully before booking. This place shouldn’t be allowed to offer rooms and make money with it. Pricey on top which is a complete joke. After half an hour staying there we needed to leave and book a place somewhere else. It was IMPOSSIBLE to spend the night there. Booking should really not let them do this any longer.

Everything! Facility (very old motel) not maintained at all. Room had extremely dirty floors, we didn't dare take off our shoes! There were huge gaps around the door, bathroom toilet was about 4 inches from the wall making it almost impossible to use, or access the shower. Stayed about an hour and left to find other accommodations.

Absolut nichts, nur das Waschbecken war recht neu.

Die Handtücher waren alle, bis auf ein einziges kleines, komplett dreckig und anscheinend auch nicht gewechselt worden zu sein. Das Bettlaken hatte, von vorigen Gästen, mehrere Spermapflecken. Der Vorhang im Badezimmerfenster war mit Anstrichfarbe bekleckert und die Möbel waren ein zusammengesetzter Sperrmüllhaufen. Ich bin Biker und wirklich rustikal, aber sowas hab ich in den letzten Jahren bei meinen Urlaubsreisen in den USA noch nicht erlebt. Ich habe das Motel auf Grund halbwegs vernünftiger Bewertungen gebucht, wobei ich im nachhinein erst bemerkt habe, das viele 10 Sterne-Rezessionen von ein und den selben Personen geschrieben wurden, um die Bewertung zu erhöhen. Ich habe circa 127 Dollar incl. Tax bezahlt. All das stand in keinem Verhältnis zur gelieferten Leistung. Dieses Motel sollte auch nicht mehr über Booking.com angeboten werden. Man müßte es, normaler Weise, allein aus hygienischen Gründen, sofort schlìeßen. Ich hab hier trotzdem übernachtet, weil alle anderen restlichen Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten an diesem Tag wesentlich teurer waren. Geschlafen hab ich übrigens auf einem halbwegs sauberen großen Handtuch, was ich mir auf das beschmutzte Laken gelegt hatte. Also, nochmals: Auf gar keinen Fall buchen !!!!!
