Golden Samarkand Hotel

Staff was very helpful and polite, many thanks to Henrich, who was serving breakfasts. Reception guys were good too. Breakfast was good, room was specious and quiet.

The location was a bit far from the attractions and old city. But close to the train station.

Lovely rooms with every modcon, impressive grand hotel decor and styling. Amazing buffet breakfast spread. Friendly staff, with special shout-out to Sher, the affable manager on duty during my stay.

Road at the front of the hotel is undergoing redevelopment, so a little challenging getting back and forth across the road. Construction works should be completed quite soon, I imagine. This said, it didn't impact on the stay.

Location, the property itself looks like a baroque palace with a huge lobby done in in-laid marble, furnished with Victorian sofas and chairs, tastefully designed. Cher at the front desk was most helpful and kind. The hotel is very close to the train station. Breakfast room is an elegant salon with all kinds of food; waiters ready to help with eggs to order or to bring anything to your table. Most of the help is young, enthusiastic and very friendly.

Cannot think of anything. It was a totally positive experience. Cher arranged for a tour guide who was also a math teacher at a high school, very kind and professional.

the hotel is almost in the center, very classic 2 years old beautiful disgn very comforable rooms with excellent breakfast. Mr. Sheer very pleasant and friendly at the reception desk spoke english fluently. Price is reasonable
