wifi in room 6 didn't quite reach, made the buffering movie rainy days a little harder to enjoy

The dog and the cat and the shared kitchen. The view. The bluff beach. Very comfortable and beautiful.

Our stay was amazing, we originally booked 2 nights but wound up staying over a week and even that was not long enough. This is a magical place -from the hosts and staff to all the critters and nature surrounding you, the property and buildings, it's truly an authentic place, you know the kind that are disappearing to be replaced by box hotels :( Tesoro Escondido is a place you never want to leave. Danielle, Woody, & Rolu are the best hosts that make you feel like family! Breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, made with LoVe :) The beach and beach bar are super chill, we were lucky to be there to do some amazing snorkeling right out front! (late Sept-early Oct.) Sloths, howler monkeys and even a resident Toucan!!!!!! I do not think there is a better place to stay in Bocas Del Toro. We can not wait to go back!

The property is beautiful, with cabinas spread out on the hill overlooking the Caribbean and a picture perfect cove. The sound of jungle birds and the rolling of the waves is your constant backdrop. The quaint cafe is situated on the third story of the main building with superb birdseye views and serves delicious made to order breakfast items. The beach bar serves an array of beverages to enjoy while relaxing in the lounge chairs spread out over the sand. The staff is genuinely caring and accommodating. While its tucked away from town, transportation is readily available. There are several restaurant options within walking distance. The owners do an excellent job of providing transparency in expectations. This is not a 4 star luxury property. It's rustic and natural and exactly what a tropical island escape is all about.
