"A fabulous location for a final taste of Sri Lanka before leaving."

We loved our one night here before getting early flight home. Very close to the airport. The location on the beach is gorgeous and the 2 pools are well maintained and refreshing in the searing heat. The staff are so lovely and the bar and restaurant onto the beach with ocean view just perfect. Price very competitive for what you get. The brochure in each room about the sustainability vision, mission and ongoing strategy of the whole JetWing brand is truly inspiring. Keep up the good work JW!

Thus was the only hotel in our trip that added significant taxes to the initial price quoted - 22% plus 10% service charge. This was on everything. Service charge is not a problem. The additional 22% on all prices felt disproportionate. Still unclear as to what exactly it is for and why no other place has made this a separate charge?
