I had a fantastic stay at Shell Resort Unawatuna. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location was little far from the beach but that’s not a problem. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Unawatuna!

Great welcome from Shiva. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comforrable. Good value for the money. .

It is a little way from the main beach, but very easy to organise tuk tuk.

The room was great. Really loved the caretaker. Comfortable beds. Excellent hospitality.

Coffee/Tea and water bottles wasn’t provided at the kitchen. The room doors need a little fixing up. Water pressure was a bit too low. The neighbors were very troublesome. The tuk driver next door tried to charge us 1500/= to go to town and when we refused and got a pickme for a fair price, he yelled at the driver and tried to scare him away.

Shiva was helpful and friendly, he was very accommodating and paid attention to everything. The place is beautiful, a little more maintenance and care, and you're well on your way to being a fabulous little getaway spot!
