Great communication from Diogo. In addition he left us a gift basket full of goodies for us to enjoy during our stay. Diogo also let us check out late as no guests were expected the next day. This meant that we could take our time to leave and enjoy our last day there.

Nothing not to like

Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived, thanks to Diogo’s incredible hospitality and warm welcome. Even though we didn’t reach the property until 11pm, Diogo was there waiting for us with a hamper of treats and cold beers - such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The house itself is absolutely stunning, set in beautiful surroundings and equipped with everything you could possibly need. There are also fantastic local restaurants nearby, along with a small shop for essentials. As a group of friends in our late 30s and 40s, it was the perfect place for us to spend quality time together - cooking, playing games, having BBQs, and visiting the local vineyards. We also managed to spend two days in Porto, and when we discovered the buses weren’t running on Saturday, Diogo quickly arranged a reliable taxi driver for us and organised the pickup without any hassle. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable trip.

Nothing - everything was perfect and it was the ideal place for a group of friends catching up and spending quality time together. The only recommendation I’d give to future guests is not to rely too heavily on public transport. We discovered that at weekends the buses to Porto either run very infrequently or not at all. Uber and Bolt are available, but quite limited in the area. That said, we had no trouble finding a taxi to bring us back from Porto to the house when needed.

A casa em si é lindíssima, e o Senhor Daniel foi muito atencioso. As janelas dos quartos tinham vista rio, e do jardim era ainda mais espetacular. Foi tudo ótimo!

Es lugar es idílico y la casa es excepcional, nunca había visto una casa tan bien equipada, en la cocina, salón, chimenea, baños...cuenta con absolutamente todo lo necesario y el anfitrión es extraordinario, pone todo a tu disposición y te regala una cesta de bienvenida. Además el sitio es un lugar rural con vistas y entorno relajante para pasear y muy cerca de Oporto.

Um lugar tranquilo, uma vista lindíssima. Adorámos o nosso fim-de-semana no conforto da casa. A decoração e todos os detalhes estão pensados ao pormenor. Sentimo-nos em casa. As crianças adoraram brincar no exterior e os serões que fizemos com os jogos de tabuleiro. Obrigada

מקום האירוח יוצא מן הכלל. נראה אפילו יותר טוב במציאות מאשר בתמונות. דייגו מארח לבבי ונדיב. עזר לנו בכל מה שהיינו צריכים והיה זמין לכל שאלה. השאיר לנו סלסלה מלאה בפינוקים כשהגענו וחיכה לנו. הבית מקסים ונוח וניכר כי יש מחשבה והשקעה בפרטים הגדולים והקטנים. הוא מאובזר מעל ומעבר לציפיות והופך את השהייה בו לנוחה נעימה ומפנקת. חשוב לציין שבכל חדר יש מזגן. לא היה חסר שום דבר. לנו בו 4 לילות והיתה הסכמה משפחתית שאפשר היה להישאר בו עוד. הכפר מיוחד מאוד ויושב ממש ליד הנהר, מרחק הליכה. ממליצים בחום על הבית של דייגו!

We had such a beautiful, amazing time at Casa Daniel! The home is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the house has everything you need, and the owner, Diogo, was so kind and welcoming! Our favourite parts were bbqing, chilling in the hammocks, and waking up with that stunning view. All the beds are really comfortable, and the town is so cute. There’s so much to do around the town, a few great of nature, bars, and restaurants close by, and a small grocery store. I would 100% come back here.

Bonita casa con todos detalles necesarios y perfectamente equipada, nueva y bien decorada, gran jardin y terraza, excelentes vistas, ubicacion perfecta para disfrutar de las playas fluviales del Duero, unas 5 a solo 20 minutos en coche en ambos lados del rio, buen restaurante de comida local en Pedorido y mas en Castillo de Paiva a unos 15 minutos en coche. Diogo el anfitrion nos trato de maravilla y nos dio mucha informacion de los alrededores muy atento indicando sitios que visitar e incluye un excelente welcome pack para disfrutar la estancia. Sin duda repetiremos pronto.
