Casa gestita da una famiglia molto ospitale e disponibile, ci hanno preparato il pranzo nonostante fossimo arrivati ben oltre l’orario di pranzo! La notte fa freddo, ma ci sono coperte calde.

Non c’erano lenzuola, solo coperte.

Camera spaziosa e letto comodi. Ottima la cena e la colazione in struttura. Personale molto disponibile. Purtroppo siamo rimasti bloccati dalla pioggia molto forte che non ci ha permesso di vedere nulla. Solo l’indomani siamo riusciti a fare due passi per la cittadina

Posizione un po’ decentrata dal paese ma comoda per le cascate e le piantagioni di pedro. Con la pioggia battente la camera era umida

"Rucchi House, great please to stay."

Sanjeewa and family really looked after me and made me feel welcome. The home cooked beef curry I had was so far the best I ate in Sri Lanka. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

"zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit in rustig en vriendelijk hotel"

Aangezien de prijs erg laag was, hadden we geen hoge verwachtingen. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en -vrouw en kregen een hele benedenverdieping aangewezen met 3 slaapkamers, woonkamer, keuken, 2 badkamers. Aangezien het weer in Nuwara Eliya heel slecht was (koud, mistig, hele dag regen) waren we blij met de ruime kamers, de warme dekens op de bedden, de warme douche en de goed werkende wifi. De gastheer heeft ons 's avonds met de tuktuk naar het centrum gebracht waar verschillende restaurantjes waren.

Great historic house (110 yrs old) with super nice hosts! The breakfast and dinner were delicious.
