Perfect host, good size room, fantastic breakfast / dinner and a 5 min tuktuk from the centre of NE. Great location to Lover's Leap waterfall and Pedro Tea factory. Expectations were exceeded!

Great place to stay! Quite and peaceful location

Everything was perfect! The host was very kind and helpful, and had a strong sense of hospitality. The room was clean and big enough with a hot shower. I received a free pickup from the bus station and a tour of Nuwara Eliya, including a visit of a tea factory (for an extra cost). For a fair price, the host also organized my trip to Horton Plains National Park and dropped me off at Ambewela Station. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for the stay.😊

I had a a great stay at Ruchi House! The hosts were super nice and reacted very quickly via what’s app! The breakfast was amazing and a lot! You will for sure have a solid base for hiking! I also had a huge Kottu for a fair price which was very tasty. The rooms are spacious. I didn’t freeze during the night as I had very thick duvets. They also offer slippers for the shower so you won’t have to walk on the wet blood and slippers so you feet won’t get cold!

On s’est senti comme chez nous, il fallait retirer les chaussures c’était top ! Le propriétaire est super sympa également. Petit déjeuner copieux.

We loved everything about this property. A quaint 150 year old English house, with only a couple of rooms. The hosts were extremely friendly and happy for a chat. The breakfast was delicious, and the Chicken Kottu we had for dinner was the best so far. They were also very helpful and had a tuk tuk if you needed a ride anywhere, for a fee. Our room was very cosy and had the most comfortable bed, with lovely smelling linen. Only a short walk into the town centre. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough, it was amazing!

Absolutely nothing!

Personnes très accueillantes et aimables. Très arrangeants et ponctuels, nous souhaitions aller à Horton plains tôt le matin, ils nous ont préparé le petit déjeuner à emporter à l'heure. Chambres spacieuses et propres, eau chaude avec pression. Ils se sont débrouillés pour nous rapporter une figurine que notre fils avait oublié dans leurs hôtel.

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut eine Unterkunft für eine Familie mit 3 Kindern zu finden. Die Leute sind super nett, man wohnt mit im Haus, aber separat. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß, und das 2. Doppelbett auch nicht super breit, aber wir haben alle Platz gefunden und für den Preis war das sehr in Ordnung. Wir sind morgens früh gestartet zur Wanderung nach Worlds End und hatten daher ein Frühstückpaket. Haben abends dort gegessen und das war eine gute Entscheidung.

The dogs outside were barking all night, which is not their fault at all but maybe request a room away from the street side, pillows were a bit too hard for me
