Wiggle Barn

Amazing location, lovely house.

When we arrived the house was very cold and clearly the cleaning was done days/week before as there were big spiders dead on the floor due to the cold. There were no instructions about the heating and when the host was contacted, she sent instructions that were not useful. We managed to operate the heating but then all the rooms became very hot while in one of the bedroom the thermostat didn't work and we spent the night in the cold. The communication with the host has been very poor as for 3 days we were boiling in the whole house except the one room where the heating was clearly out of order but she only replied to the emails at the end of the second night without solving the issue. The host must make sure to prepare the house to be confortable and cosy as after a long journey we were expecting to relax in a welcoming house and not spending time to warm up the place.
