Emplacement très pratique pour prendre les bus ou les bateaux, des restaurants partout. Proche du centre historique, mais calme la nuit malgré la foule de touristes dans la journée.

The main positive of this apartment is the location, we loved it. It’s just so central, right by the port and steps from the base of the Main Street and plaza. Ideal location to enjoy local shopping and eating, catch a boat to other towns or Capri, even grab a bus. Doesn’t get better. Plus the view is great on the water, the town and cliffs, and harbor right across. It can get loud being that a main road is right under the window, the port right across and buses as well. But it didn’t bother us. The windows and shutters provided good insulation at night. We enjoyed the view a lot as well as proximity to everything. The rent isn’t cheap especially given how outdated the place is, but you obviously pay for the prime location and view, which we enjoyed that a lot. Another aspect we liked was how spacious the apartment was even though the layout is a bit odd. We didn’t cook in the kitchen, just used the fridge and kettle for tea. But it had basics needed for simple meals and a small table with chairs. We liked having a washer as we were on a 6-week trip and needed to wash clothes as most our stops. We really enjoyed having a drink while enjoying the view on the sea. Overall the location and view made this place a great spot for us to stay on the Amalfi coast but there were less positive aspects we thought were worth mentioning below.

The entrance is in a tunnel right off the road with no sidewalk and lots of traffic including big buses and fast moving vehicles all day. It’s dangerous and inconvenient especially upon arrival and departure with luggage. Note that Drivers will not drop you off there and we had to walk with three suitcases up that street with no sidewalk and cars going by super fast. Not pleasant nor safe. Just for awareness. It’s also very loud. Thankfully there is sound proof door separating the front section( stairs from street level, hallway with kitchen/bathroom) from the living/sleeping area otherwise it’d be unbearable. Also that front section of the apartment gets very hot and there is no AC there. We were hot right after a shower. It’s also humid and musky. The bathroom feels very outdated and the shower is particularly in need of upgrade. It’s so small and shower head isn’t good. Not enjoyable. The back section is made up of the bedroom and then the living area with the balcony over the street. Those rooms though spacious are outdated and also get very hot. The small AC unit in the living area isn’t enough and doesn’t cool down the bedroom. You have to run it constantly on Max and we had to closed shutters during the day to avoid too much sun coming in, which at times defeated the point of having a great view.

A localização é perfeita, ao lado do porto, para quem quer visitar as outras cidades, fica muito cômodo. E ao lado também do centrinho. não dá nem 1 minuto á pé. Apartamento grande e super confortável.

Vi är andra gången i samma lägenhet. Vi trivdes så mycket. Lägenheten är nära till allt. En liten balkong där man har översikt över vackra Amalfi. Vi kommer säkert tillbaka. Tack för allt

This apartment is simply exceptional. Everything was spotlessly clean, the linens were perfectly pressed and fresh, with no odors at all – just a sense of calm and care as soon as you walk in. The location is absolutely incredible: as soon as you step outside, you can either head into the center or straight to the sea – both just a few steps away. It couldn’t be better situated. The view took my breath away every single day – you can see the sea right from the bed! Waking up to that was pure magic. This apartment truly won my heart. I’m already planning to come back next year with great pleasure. 100% recommended – one of the best stays I’ve ever had!
