Very highly scented linen/ towels etc Overpowering, affecting our sleep on the first night Host brought more sheets round but had been washed in the same stuff Unable/ unwilling to help further except to offer we move out Host complained when we brought mother in-law round for 2 hrs for cup of coffee Also said we went out leaving windows open Bit rich as she left the unit unlocked for our arrival

It was quiet ideal for an adult couple far away enough from Skegness town centre but close enough to go into town.Not for a family but for the older couple looking for some peace and quiet it was peaceful and relaxing and surrounding countryside lovely also good access to major towns to go explore we had a very good 10 day break there car is a must!!! We would go again.

No local shop had to go into Skegness but that was the compromise countryside peace and quiet verses seaside town hustle and bustle we choose peace and quiet. It was short of drawer and wardrobe space but that was a small issue for us

Everything was perfect and even nicer than we expected. It was a great location, clean, had everything we needed and a lovely place to stay! The owners were very helpful and friendly😊

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Stables, a beautifully maintained one-bedroom cottage that had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. The property was spotless and tastefully decorated, with all the modern facilities you'd expect. The kitchen, with its charming stable door, was perfect for warm days, and the living room was so cozy, featuring a big comfy sofa and a large flat screen smart TV. The bi-fold doors opened out onto the enclosed garden, which was truly lovely with its own private outside seating area with a fantastic view of the perfectly manicured lawn and a wildlife pond—such a relaxing sight! The bedroom was a dream, with a super comfortable king-size bed and its own flat screen TV, and the en-suite bathroom was spacious and luxurious with a walk-in shower. We were also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome goodies—a bottle of wine, fresh eggs, snacks and even some treats for our dog. The location was peaceful and quiet, ideal for adults looking to unwind. Even though there were a few caravans parked nearby, they didn’t interfere with the view or the serene atmosphere of the garden. Private Vip parking right next to the property made everything so convenient. All in all, it was a perfect retreat, and we’d highly recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful, semi-rural setting. We’ll definitely be back!

The stables is a beautiful detached one-bedroomed cottage situated on the owner's land overlooking a large area of perfectly manicured grass and a wildlife pond. There are hardstandings for 5 cars and caravans to the left-hand side of the lawn, but these do not encroach on the view from the enclosed garden of The Stables. The site is for adults only and was quiet and peaceful at all times. The Stables has a kitchen with a stable door (very nice in the recent hot spell), a comfortable living room with large, squashy sofa, a multi-channel TV (although not Sky) and bi-fold doors out into the garden, a bedroom with king-size bed and another TV and a large en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The property was immaculately clean and Sarah, the owner, had kindly left a selection of treats including eggs, milk and a very nice bottle of wine. Thank you. We would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

This property was spotlessly clean, of a high spec and perfectly located for an early drive to the beach to miss the crowds, before returning to make the most of the impressive and meticulously manicured gardens.

The cottage is exceptional. The decor is very tasteful, it’s very comfortable and the views are stunning, particularly from the fold back window in the lounge. The whole place is spotless and the hosts have thoughtfully left loads of extras to make the stay extra special.
