EVERYTHING We booked very last minute as we were driving into town as we'd been caught in a tree slide & had already paid for 2 nights accomm that we were physically unable to reach by car. Reluctant to pay again hence the last minute res. Received a message to say that the apartment wasn't clean as they'd not expected a booking but we're sending cleaners (it was only 1 lady) & instructions for entry. We work in the Hotel industry & could appreciate the situation so it was not an issue for us to wait. We got there before the cleaner & were going to dump our bags & come back later. The apartment did not resemble the photos at all - bathroom was a concrete shell, walls badly marked throughout, AC did not work, beds looked awful, curtains filthy, kitchen was filthy open shelving & the furniture was old, stained & mismatched. Dark...dank...ugly & everything had a horrible greasy film on it. Luggage (multiple suitcases) of previous guests still there. We spoke with the owner who basically promised a Cinderella makeover but we couldn't see this happening & voted with our feet. We didn't even bother asking for a refund!!
