Waters edge

Our stay at the waters edge was lovely, brilliant location and so peaceful. The owners were lovely and very welcoming The two resident dogs were adorable and so friendly.

There was nothing to dislike but perhaps a little welcome basket would be an added touch.

The bed was uncomfortable

It such a peaceful place to be, nice and quiet and the cottage had everything you could need for a weekend. Will definitely be back another time, let’s you switch off for a while!

Excellent location, comfortable, spotless, owners friendly and helpful. Nice comfy bed!

Only a v minor point but television controls not easy to work (but owner’s father came round promptly to fix problem). Also after I had been out all day in the rain I needed a hot bath but the water was not hot enough. On first evening (a bank holiday) local pubs were not doing food and Domino’s (who apparently usually do deliver there) said no delivery available so I had to go out again to buy something after a >3 hour drive. Keep that in mind if you’re driving a long way and take food as the room has a good kitchen area. Not very important stuff but that is why I give 9 out of ten. Would give 9.75 if that were possible!

Great location. Beautiful grounds. Peaceful. Friendly and helpful hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Good facilities.

Nothing not to like

Very clean and comfortable . Beautiful surroundings and country walks. Everything is here that you need . Will definitely be back. We were left to get in with our break, but we knew that if we needed anything, then we just had to ask. But, to be honest, everything we needed was there. Absolutely lovely.
