Ocean Cottage Maldives

Amazing service in a very lovely place. I liked the fact Ocean Cottage is a very small and cozy place, so it feels like home. Ibrahim was amazing host cooking great breakfasts (including perfect brownies I loved so much) and helping with daily needs like advising on laundry, money exchange or organizing tours. I liked that place had a lot of plants and cute decorations. It is located also well just few meters from the beach. Breakfast was also served on the beach with a great view.

Prior to our liveaboard trip, we decided to acclimatise in Thulushdhoo and do a few dives. We stayed for three nights. We have chosen the Ocean Cottage because it was also recommended as part of dive & Stay Package by a local dive centre. We booked it separately. It turned out to be better than we expected. The room was spacious. We had plenty of space to put our dive equipment. The bed was very comfortable. The plugs in the room were suited for all types of power adapters. We had our breakfast on the beach , which was really great. Ibrahim, the B&B carer, was super helpful in every way. He accommodated our special requests. My flip flops broke, he took me a shop where I could get super cheap, also pretty, flip flops. He carried our dive gear with a tricycle to the Dive centre. Ocean Cottage is good value for money. 10m from the beach and other restaurants. Bikini beach isn't far, 5 mins on foot.

Very nice and clean room, nothing beats a breakfast at the beach! Ibrahim was super friendly and a great host. Happy to come back!

De ligging was geweldig. Het dagelijkse ontbijt aan het strand spreekt tot de verbeelding voor een vakantie op een tropisch eiland. Mahmud en Ibrahim waren perfecte gastheren. Ibrahim staat dagelijks letterlijk van 06 tot 22 uur tot je beschikking. Hij kent alles en iedereen op het eiland. Heb je een vraag. Hij regelt het voor je.

Er kon geen raam open op de kamer voor extra frisse lucht. De reden was dan wel begrijpelijk omdat gasten niet de discipline hebben om de airco uit te zetten als ze een raam zouden open doen. Mss een sensor op een raam over wegen zodat de raam wel open kan en de airco automatisch stopt.

Ibrahim è Mahmoud sono due host eccezionali, la posizione praticamente in spiaggia, l'ambiente molto local, caffè e the a disposizione nell'ampio portico esterno piedi nella sabbia.

La struttura è tipicamente maldiviana quindi purtroppo le camere affacciano su un corridoio interno, meglio considerarlo prima di prenotare

Everything was perfect! Mohammed and Ibrahim are such nice hosts and always there for your convenience :) Cottage is right in front of the bikini beach, you literally wake up and have your breakfast served with the stunning view. Breakfast was diverse, good portion and delicious. Everything was clean, there were no noises, no disturbances. You are offered transport from speedboat and till speedboat when coming back, they will also book it for you. It was definitely a dreamy vacation for me and I recommend it to everyone :)))
