Otaki Motel

Es war abgewohnt aber sauber. Bad war super renoviert. Die Lage war nicht so schlecht aber es gab dort auch nichts.

Der junge Typ bei der Rezeption wirkte ziemlich benommen und eingetrübt (es war 14.09 Uhr). Fand den Schlüssel auch nicht. Dies senkte das Sicherheitsempfinden auf Null.

Location was good.

The unit was quite small and had some dead insects on the bathroom wall and above the double bed. The neighbours were very loud for most of the night. Nothing to do with you but my guest didn't turn up so was an unhappy stay in general. The insects and neighbour noise just added to the problem, didn't get much sleep .

Nothing

Everything. It is really shoddy and run down. The outside front and back porches are filthy. The curtains are falling off. The bed was so old and soft it gave me back ache

Just needed a cheap overnight on our way north, but was very unimpressed. The unit was filthy. Its a very run down motel, which would have been fine if it was clean. Needs a proper deep clean and air out.

The service

The window in the bathroom and the man hole in the bathroom was open a little, also the dividers out the back needed to go further out so there was more privacy between other stayers
