Flexible timing as our flight was delyaed

The property is lovely and in a great location. There are a few things that I think are needed that are easy to fix: 1. There are insufficient chairs at the dining table - only 6 for a house that caters for 8 2. Insufficient matching glassware, crockery and cutlery - a minimum expectation is that there should be enough to cover the number of guests. As an example, no water glasses, only 3 teaspoons, not enough bowls. 3. Owners clothes and personal effects should be locked away and kept private

The view over the stone fence is beautiful out to the ruins the Ballybunion Castle and the sea however, we felt the description of the home location was quite misleading. None of the photos looking out to the beach or back to the home, indicate that there is a very busy walking path directly behind the stone wall or a parking lot directly outside the front door. The first sentences of the property description include the word secluded and having a busy beach to town walking path and parking lot immediately adjacent to the property is quite the opposite. Expansive windows and modern design of the house allow for incredible views but due to the busy walking path, all of the living spaces rooms are quite on display, especially in the evening which again is the opposite of secluded. The house itself was as shown in the photos and very clean inside except for a great deal of personal items in closets and the kitchen area. It does feel more like moving into someone’s home versus a vacation rental. Last we asked about and would suggest regular window cleaning. Coastal living is rough on windows at times but a quick wash makes all the difference with such large windows - this had not been done for some time so the view was diminished with bird droppings and coastal buildup.

As described above, we feel the property description is quite misleading. The home is not private or secluded in terms of being on a busy walking path and parking lot, which results in a great deal of foot traffic directly in front of all of the homes windows, including bedrooms and both living area spaces.

We love everything about this house! The location is second to none, the house design is modern, sleek and it’s totally luxurious. Close to all amenities & great communication with the hosts. This was our second visit and we will be back again for sure!
