The main bed was very firm. Street noise was high.

Great host, friendly, and dropped us off to the station at an unearthly hour for free, without charge. That should count for all the stars one can give. From the inside, the apartment is spacious and well fitted. The kitchen was tricky to operate due to a malfunction with the cooker. The apartment block is next to a major motorway crossing, so busy with over excited drivers, speeding like there is no tomorrow. It was dry, dusty, and a construction site for the local University buildings. So once this is complete and the back roads are tarmacked, it will be better. There are no lights in the building common areas, although Uzbekistan is very safe.

The location is not conducive to tourists and far from the heart of old Bukhara. So there are lots of excited university students milling around, but there are no vibes for tourists. The buildings bring constructed will probably take a couple of years before they are done. Next time, perhaps we would choose close to old town.
