The Drapery

This was a perfect little setup, home from home. Very clean and comfortable. Owner had left cakes, milk, tea, coffee and so much more. Owner worries about noise from the hotel next door, however we were there for a bank holiday weekend with music and really, it was just minimal music noise and pleasant at that. If it was too loud, we could have joined them, but truthfully, it wasn't. Whilst there doesn't seem to be a lot in Ferbane, you are close to Athlone and Tullamore. The golden shopping centre in Athlone was great shopping. This apartment is thoroughly recommended!

Beautiful decorated apartment above a pub , owner is a gentleman and had lovely welcoming apple tart on arrival, Danny really goes out of his way to make sure you are ok ,pub downstairs is great , Guinness is pure cream here and he does Pizza too if you get hungry,ample car park around the corner was a bonus!

May be a little noise from music after 11pm but didn't bother me too much.

Very helpful and friendly host. Nice to actually meet a person, not just a lockbox.

The heating system is a bit unusual, to us. A wood pellet stove, which was confusing to manage. Also the heating was unbalanced throughout the accommodation. Hot in the living space and cold in the bedrooms and bathroom. The property is on a busy road, although the soundproofing is good.

Unit was newly renovated. Right in the town . Parking right near by . Host was very nice

Nice clean apartment with everything that was needed. Host was brilliant and ensured everything was perfect. Very clean and great location for travelling around the Midlands.

Иногда мешают спать проезжающие мимо окон грузовики, так же иногда в окно идет дым от сигарет, курящих возле паба людей. Но это все мелочи. Если закрыть окна- все будет отлично.

Bedden waren perfect, de gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk geslapen en de keuken is compleet voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Goede locatie om bij de wandelingen te komen. Wij waren aangenaam verrast door de grootte van het appartement.

The property was clean and well presented. The hosts were very kind and considerate, leaving food provisions for us on arrival. Danny went out of his way to accommodate our needs, providing extra fuel when the weather appeared to turn a bit colder.

I travelled with my mentally and physically disabled brother and another sister. The only points I would like to make are possible improvements which I know the hosts will include soon. They are, a bannister rail to support climbing the stars and a mirror for personal use when drying hair and applying makeup. The mirror needs to be placed near to an electric socket and in good light.
