Comfortable riad with very attentive and helpful staff. Perfect for a few days’ stay in Chefchaouen.

I have stayed her twice and enjoyed both stays. What really stands out for me about Iguana Azul is the very friendly staff and the great location for access to our driver and for access to restaurants. The baths are also quite modern. The beds, while firm which is common in Morocco, are comfortable. I like that there is a kettle in the home to for evening tea. I've had the same room on the ground floor both times. It is a small room but sufficient for 1. My clients had other rooms which were larger and quite nice. I find this riad charming. I've stayed in 4 other riads previously i the medina and Iguana Azul is my favorite so I hope to stay here again on future visits.

My only complaint is the bedding. On both stays the duvet on my queen bed was much too small and did not cover the entire bed. the beds should have properly sized duvets.

Staff very helpful with transport and recommendations .Breakfast plentiful and accomodation .Towels changed daily.Shower good .Close to all attractions and good restaurants .A little daunting at first but once you have walked it no problem

Pb de Clim qui n a pas fonctionné. Nous étions sous les toits. Chaleur intenable. Déçus par la réaction du personnel. Juste désolé.

Unser Zimmer im Iguana Azul war sehr hübsch. Das Bett war bequem und groß. Der Empfang war freundlich. Es gab Minztee zur Begrüßung. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt. Man bekommt nur einen Zimmerschlüssel. Für den Einlass an der Haustür muss man klingeln, wenn abends die Tür zu ist. Das Frühstück wurde im Salon serviert. Die Dachterrasse nutzen wir nur fürs Fotografieren. Das Frühstück wird an den Tisch gebracht und es gab auch Oliven und so eine Art Sesammus. Schwarztee erhielt ich auf Anfrage. Ungefragt gab es Omelette. Frische Handtücher gibt es auch ohne Zimmerreinigung.

Der Seifenspender in der Dusche war defekt. Es gab von Anfang an nur 1 Klopapier Rolle. Als diese leer war und niemand an der Rezeption war, mussten wir das Toilettenpapier der Gästetoilette verwenden. Der Hinweis an den Rezeptionisten, diese doch dann bitte wieder aufzufüllen geschah zumindest nicht zeitnah und während unseres 2tägigen Aufenthalts. Auch der Seifenspender wurde trotz Reklamation nicht repariert. Die Parksituation in Chefchaouen war eine Katastrophe. Selbsternannte Parkwächter kassieren beim Parken am Straßenrand ab. Das vom Hotel empfohlene Parador Parking war dauerhaft belegt. Zimmerreinigung erfolgt nur auf Anforderung. Diese Information erhielten wir nur nach Nachfrage am 2. Tag.

The view from our terrace was nice; the room was clean. Breakfast was adequate.

They didn’t provide enough coffee, and didn’t offer porter service from the parking area to the property. A long way to drag bags, especially when it was hot. I had asked them on WhatsApp for help, but got no answer. The room was small, and the King bed was hard to get out of on one side.

Un petit hôtel particulièrement bien placé et très confortable. Une belle décoration dans les chambres et une terrasse agréable. Un bon petit déjeuner avec du jus d'orange frais au petit déjeuner. Le personnel est très sympathique. Belle expérience....

Tout était parfait
