Location was good. Staff were friendly

Decor was dated and in need of refurbishment. Allocated parking would be helpful.

The room was clean

We were allocated a room. An hour later another couple used a key card to open our door and walk straight in stating that they were staying in that room. Reception said sorry, with no sincerity and there was no offer of recompense and they didn’t seem to see the seriousness of the breach of privacy or security. At breakfast, which was dry from sitting on a hot plate too long, no one greeted us so we chose a table and began eating our cereal. We were then told to move as we were in the ‘coach area’. We had to stop eating and move to a different table. The room was clean but it was old fashioned and smelt stale. The whole hotel needs a severe make over. We will never stay at this hotel again and we definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Location Megan on desk lovely, woman taking breakfast orders very friendly and helpful, young woman on night duty very helpful Man on desk spectacularly unfriendly and unhelpful-he should not be in a customer facing role as did not know how to interact with customers

Noisy-very thin walls, hear neighbouring voices, doors banging at late hours, drilling at 1am, plumbing noisy, water pipes gurgling and draining every few minutes. Overall very little sleep Three coach loads of all inclusive travellers, all older people and a broken elevator with only very steep stairs as access to the bedrooms-we struggled as younger people to manage especially with small suitcases.
