Comfortable room. Pasqual was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice to be a bit away from the center of town, yet still very easy to get around on foot. Clean room, good hot water in shower, very good mattress (firm). Personnel so charming and helpful.

The sheets and towels were very perfumed, or perhaps washed with fabric softener. So the smell was quite overpowering for me and left me with a headache. Detergent without perfume would be a solution

A lovely guest house. Very comfortable beds Very kind and attentive owners who went out of their way to arrange an early check-in for me. The location is just perfect. Very close to the RSC, the old town and the railway station. I will be returning.

Wonderful and comfortable facilities. The owner was exceptionally kind, accommodating, and helpful. The location was excellent.

In the picturesque town ideal for leisurely walks, Salamander Guest House is located just a stroll away from all major sights and close enough to dash back for a sweater when it gets chilly. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. We were so glad we followed all her advice about dinners and breakfasts. She even made sure we attracted as many butterflies as possible with her grapefruit-scented shampoo.

The host Alex was exceptionally welcoming, from parking our car across the narrow lane to the back, carrying our bags, providing a local map and advice on where to eat and places to visit. Is was really very good. Besides the room there was a common sitting/living/dinning room that was very useful since we arrived late an had to have takeaway for dinner.
