Spacious, high end feeling

Price a bit high, private onsen under maintenance, no USB ports?

Boutique, modern, spacious, open, with onsen available, entrance included to Keith Haring museum

Food perhaps could have elevated the stay, considering it is 5-star hotel. I personally like a more traditional Japanese styled food for my stay but I understand the stay itself is not traditional per say.

Stunning architecture and a beautiful property in Hokuto. The staff went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable; they drove us to and from locations and even booked restaurants for us when requested. The breakfast was yum, the rooms were absolutely beautiful and the onsen was magical. It was a treat to be right next to the Keith Haring museum which was also fantastic.

The walks to surrounding areas can be quite far but that is just the infrastructure of Kobuchizawa. I do wish there was an in hotel cafe area and not just the whisky bar!

The view from the hotel, esp the stars in night time, was excellent. Also, the room was very sophisticated and nice

The onsen there was not so hot maybe because of some machine trouble

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms with modern and stylish interior. Huge bed and very comfortable pyjamas. Staff were very kind and helpful. Dinner option A was plenty and delicious, breakfast was also very good and big! We really enjoyed the private onsen, especially the large cooler bath was perfect in summer!

Not a problem, but the road in front of the hotel was pretty busy in the morning and even though all rooms face the back, traffic was still noisy on the terrace.
