Villa Kalōn

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived at Villa Kalōn, it felt like somewhere special. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with incredible views and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. You can tell that so much thought, care and attention has gone into every detail. As a family, we found it perfect. It had everything we needed and more, and the quality of the villa exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic too, with plenty to see and do nearby while still feeling peaceful and private. What really made our stay unforgettable was the host. We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but we’ve never met someone so genuinely kind, welcoming and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing holiday. It’s rare to find somewhere that lives up to the photos, but Villa Kalōn exceeded them. Exceptional value for money, beautifully designed, and a place we’ll remember for a long time. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and would love to return one day.

Nothing at all, it was honestly perfect

The villa is beautifully and tastefully furnished. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are excellent for a large family group. The pool area is great, we spent hours enjoying the pool. We used the bikes a number of times to head in to Rethymno old town. Thodoris was a great host, checking up during our visit to ensure that all was ok with our stay.

Superbe maison très confortable, moderne tout en étant cozy, entièrement équipée, très bien conçue. Nous avons énormément aimé les grandes baies vitrées du sol au plafond, qui permettent de profiter au maximum de la vue sur mer tout en restant protégés du vent. Bon emplacement à proximité de la plage et de la ville (la vieille ville est à environ 40 minutes à pied). Le service conciergerie nous a permis d'avoir des courses faites à notre arrivée, ce qui était très agréable. La literie était incroyable. Le service de ménage quotidien participe vraiment du repos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'avoir ce service inclus. L’aire de jeux à l'arrière de la maison a ravi les enfants! C'était un gros plus pour nous. La cheminée, superbe, est egalement un vrai plus pour passer des soirées chaleureuses, surtout lorsque le temps est un peu decevant comme dans notre cas. Nous l’avons adorée. Le propriétaire Thodoris est très sympathique, réactif et attentif aux besoins des hôtes. Un excellent hôte! Nous le remercions d'ailleurs d'avoir répondu à toutes nos demandes (notamment concernant des equipements pour les enfants) Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa magnifique. Nous y reviendrions avec un immense plaisir. Que ce soit du côté du propriétaire ou du côté de l'agence Etouri, tout est fait pour que les hôtes passent le meilleur séjour possible.

Sans doute en raison du temps décevant que nous avons eu, la piscine, malgré le fait qu’elle ait été chauffée, nous a semblé un peu froide, de sorte que nous n’en avons finalement que peu profité. De ce fait, le coût du chauffage nous a semblé un peu élevé. 2 points éventuellement à noter, même si cela n'a pas été dérangeant ds notre cas: - 2 chambres sont en sous-sol donc cela peut poser problème pour les personnes sujettes à claustrophobie, même si les plafonds sont hauts, - la montée en retour de la plage est raide. Pour les personnes à mobilité réduite il sera sans doute nécessaire d’utiliser un véhicule.

Huset var helt fantastisk. Rent og god hjemmefølelse. Anbefales for små barn/ barnefamilie.

Having just returned from a family holiday to this exceptional accommodation, I cannot recommend it highly enough! It is a superb luxury villa in an enviable position within easy reach of the centre of Rethymnon and the beautiful old town and port as well as being only 10 minutes from the beach. The villa design and the attention to detail really was incredible, providing not only plenty of communal spaces to enjoy as a large adult family, but also laid out in such a way that privacy and relaxation could be enjoyed without impacting the intent of our trip. The pool area was comfortable and spacious, providing an enviable position of being suitable for sun worshippers or those of us who found sanctuary from the sun in the shaded areas at various times of the day! Every space was meticulously clean and tastefully furnished with quality and comfort in mind-high quality appliances and technology throughout the Villa. The villa owner-Thodoris, was a fabulous host-always available to provide his personal recommendations for restaurants , bars and excursions as well as being on hand for any questions or help during our stay. A really memorable holiday in a truly memorable Villa-Well deserving of the reviews and the recent recognition as a Gold Winner at the Tourism awards as Urban Villa of the Year 😊

You can call or write the owner 24/7. He will help you at any time. The rooms are verry clean. Every day, the service staffs will clean the Vila. You many devices in the kitchen. Also a gas-grill. We will come again.

They catered to our varied needs, from organizing airport transfers to facilitating boat rentals at discounted rates. A special mention goes to the villa's commitment to cleanliness. With daily housekeeping ensuring every corner sparkled and a thorough weekly deep cleaning, guests can expect top-notch hygiene standards. When considering value for money, Villa Kalon shines bright, setting it apart from other Mediterranean luxury accommodations. It's suitable for family holidays and business trips alike, positioning it as a top recommendation for a premium stay experience.
