Location was exactly as expected and we had a great stay. Stayed with a big group (11 people) for a chill stag do. I would suggest this location for big groups of friends/big families looking for a location for an affordable day or two. There was plenty of space to play games, we had a good barbecue with the grills provided, bathrooms were clean and comfortable for both genders. The tents were cozy, clean and comfortable. As clearly stated both on their website and on booking, electricity and lighting is limited: a torch is definitely a must, particularly if you intend to have a night barbecue. Visitors should also be aware that it can be VERY cold at night (as stated by the hosts!), so dress accordingly. The tents had some hot water bags and extra bedding, which we appreciated.

This is not a critique of the venue itself, which I think is very transparent about its limits and gives plenty of advise on how to have a great experience, but I would strongly suggest taking weather and the number of people involved into strong consideration before booking. Our experience was great, but we were very lucky and had almost 2 days of perfect weather. The indoor area (the hub) is rather small, so unless one is in a couple, or a small group it can get tricky. That being said, I would book this location again.

You're met on arrival in person, very friendly owners.

Be aware there is no footpath into the property. Very narrow road so be mindful when coming and going.

I chose the hut for its cosy, tiny interior, which gave me a warm, welcoming feeling. Despite its small size, it had everything I needed: a gas stove, kitchenware, fridge, private bathroom, towels, toiletries, double bed, sofa, kettle, bathtub, and even a BBQ stove outside. Located in a large grassy field, the hut offers extensive natural views, perfect for complete relaxation. I recommend bringing all the food you need and staying for one or two nights, either enjoying the tranquility or taking walks during the day.
