Only the view, nothing else.

The room was dirty, the floor, table, chair were all dirty. The blanket and one of the pillows were not white. There is no staff, just one guy who doesn't speak English.

Good location for someone who wants to enjoy nature, silence and tranquility. Amazing view, cozy room with all needed facilities, good mattress for sleep well and nobody around for enjoy natural sounds and panorama. Bring coffee with you, have cups and small water boiling in the room.

Water pressure in the shower could be more strong and cleaning lilbit more proper/ Also missing a little breakfast (no option)

Villa Dukuh is in a very peaceful location, nestled off about 15 minutes motorbike ride from Sideman town. Good place to relax in between travel, but keep in mind that it is very remote. Basically you absolutely need to have your transportation figured out - not easily accessible by car.

The main selling point of this villa is undoubtedly the panorama / view. It is just insane. The villa is elevated and gives an unobstructed 180 degree view of the area. I was very lucky to see mountain Agung in the morning. Most of the time it was covered (at least partially) with clouds. But even without the mountain, the view of the rice terraces is incredible. The area is tranquil. The host was very kind and offered me a fresh coconut. The water pressure in the villa is good and hot water pours almost immediately, no need to wait. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable. The host provides you with water bottles.

Not really the downsides but something to keep in mind. - There is no wardrobe, shelves or hangers. - It is more a Google maps problem but it doesn't show that there is a road to the villa. Google maps shows that the road ends without reaching the villa but in reality it is not the case. Just keep walking down the road (it doesn't end) and you will find the villa. Not recommended to arrive after sunset (after 6:30 pm) because the road is not good and there are no lights. But during the daylight you can find it with no problem. - If you like to be surrounded by people, you should look for other hotels/villas in this area. There are quite a few. However, they are not elevated like this villa. Additionally, this villa is a bit remote and very peaceful. Your only neighbours are in the second villa next door and the host downstairs. In my case the villa next door was empty one night and occupied one night so I had this space just for me for a night. - There is no Grab in this area. Hence, it is difficult to navigate without your own transport. You are isolated for the duration of your stay. - No food is offered. Not a problem because I walked 10 min to Great Mountain View hotel. They have good and affordable food options. But I saw how the host brought something to my neighbors, I assume it was food. I guess you can ask him to arrange the delivery. I was happy with walking 10 min because this was the only entertainment during the day apart from enjoying the panorama.

Our room has one of the best views we’ve ever seen. It was an incredible place to wake up. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms and lovely balcony. The host was wonderful and brought us breakfast and hot water for our coffee each morning. Perfect! The property is up the mountain and out of the way which was perfect for us but I can be a challenge to find. A kettle would have been nice for those who like to make their own tea and coffee. Those views and the host who helps out with anything you need makes your stay unforgettable 😊

The astonishing view on Mt. Agung

Everything was so amazing, the view and power of Mount Agung. I wish I could stay here forever. The house is so big, bed was huge and comfortable.
