Villa Marta

Location was quiet, parking was good. The open plan layout was comfortable for a couple. Good facilities included a coffee machine, fridge/freezer, toaster, sandwich toaster and washing machine. The welcoming bottle of wine and second complimentary bottle later in the stay were well appreciated. Good WiFi and Netflix available on TV. External barbecue was useful.

The concrete built outside dining area was fixed, the seats were upright and distanced from the table. Additional cushions would add comfort. Frequent visits from many swallows to drink/splash in the pool caused debris which would benefit from more frequent pool cleaning. Local amenities were almost non-existent - Lixouri the nearest town/port was a 15 drive away for a small selection of cafes, tavernas and shops plus the ferry to Argostoli.
