Good double room. OK breakfast. Good dinner. Nice staff. Nice view from the terrace towards the Big Wave. Close to the village after the beach.

Some of the photos of the property show the Big Wave, you can imagine that it is big all year round. It is big, biggest from June to September, when there are a lot of surfers in the area. At other times of the year, there is a regular big wave over the reef. And not so many surfers in the area.

As soon as I booked my trip, I got contacted by the owner “Rairoa”, and he gave me all the necessary informations before my stay, wich made me feel comfortable arriving. Once arrived I was impressed by the location of the Lodge which was straight at the waterfront looking on that world famous wave “Teahupoo”. Meeting Rairoa there gave me a welcoming feeling through his heartwarming and authentic Tahitian attitude. There is a Kayak and Snorkeling equipment at the Lodge for free use, which was awesome to explore de lagoon. I can really recommend the place, its quiet, its clean, its welcoming and its teahupoo !!
