Amare suite

Nous avons passé quatre nuits dans ce superbe hébergement, très beau, très propre et très bien équipé. Le lit est très confortable. La propriétaire est très sympathique. C’est un emplacement idéal pour visiter Chania et toute la partie occidentale de la Crête. Nous avons apprécié le jacuzzi et les petites attentions. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous recommandons !

Le logement est très propre, très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine et le jacuzzi, ainsi que la facilité de parking sur place. L’endroit est calme et agréable, tout en étant très bien situé : plusieurs plages sont accessibles en moins de 10 minutes en voiture, et la Canée se rejoint facilement. Petit conseil pratique : il est possible de se garer gratuitement à l’entrée de la ville (rue Georgiakidion) et de prendre un bus électrique gratuit qui vous dépose à deux pas de la vieille ville et du port vénitien, idéal pour profiter sans stress. Enfin, notre hôte a été adorable, très réactive et toujours disponible, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande sans hésitation ce logement, c’est un excellent choix pour découvrir la région de La Canée.

Sehr schicke, neuwertige Unterkunft mit tollem Außenbereich, vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen. Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Haus. Uns hat besonders die wunderschön bepflanzte Terrasse mit Pool gefallen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Wohngebiet und ist ca 20 - 30 Autominuten von Chania entfernt. Nach Chania fährt ins Zentrum ein kostenloser Shuttlebus. Den Tipp und weitere Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Ausflüge hatten wir von Maria, der sympathischen, aufmerksamen Gastgeberin. Bei unserer Ankunft hatte sie einen kleinen Imbiss, Obst und Wasser bereit gestellt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche und haben uns gut erholt.

Kind owner who provided fresh fruit, wine and snacks as part of the stay. They also advised us when the suite was ready in case we wanted to check in earlier. The suite is finished to a high standard and has a comfortable bed. Everything was very clean.

We couldn't always get hot water from the shower. The owner did say they could have switched the heater on if we had asked, but it was late at night and we didn't want to disturb them. I would suggest if you stay here to clarify in advance about the hot water.

Just had a stay in Amare suite for our honeymoon and we didn’t want to leave. The host Maria was very kind and thoughtful ensuring we had all the necessities including fresh eggs from her chickens and fresh fruit some of it grown around the house. She also had everything we needed for our 6 month old and made sure to give us recommendations of things to do around the area. The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed having our own pool to use. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was absolutely luxurious. Maria is a wonderful host who greeted us with delicious homemade treats, offered great restaurant recommendations in the area, and was attentive to all our needs. Everything was beautifully designed — the outdoor pool area was fun, relaxing, and inviting, perfect down to the last detail. We were a couple with a child and originally booked a couple of nights, but we immediately fell in love with the place and decided to extend our stay for the rest of our vacation. It’s highly recommended, especially for a longer stay. Maria has two units, each with a private pool and BBQ area. The one-bedroom flat includes a whirlpool, while the two-bedroom flat features a ping-pong table. Both have spacious, well-equipped kitchens with everything you need — large fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, basic condiments, and even fresh eggs from Maria’s own chickens! Both units are equally amazing. The location is just a 15-minute drive from Chania city center, yet it feels peaceful and rural. Private on-site parking is also very convenient. השהות שלנו הייתה פשוט מפוארת. מריה היא מארחת נפלאה שקיבלה אותנו במטעמים ביתיים, המליצה לנו על מסעדות מצוינות באזור והייתה קשובה לכל בקשה שלנו. הכול מעוצב להפליא – אזור הבריכה החיצוני מהנה, רגוע ומזמין, מושלם עד הפרט האחרון. היינו זוג עם ילד, והזמנו בתחילה כמה לילות בלבד, אך מיד התאהבנו במקום והחלטנו להאריך את השהות לכל החופשה. מומלץ בחום, במיוחד לשהות ארוכה. למריה יש שתי יחידות, לכל אחת בריכה פרטית ומנגל. הדירה עם חדר השינה האחד כוללת ג’קוזי, והדירה עם שני חדרי השינה כוללת שולחן פינג פונג. לשתיהן מטבחים גדולים ומאובזרים היטב עם כל מה שצריך – מקרר גדול, מיקרוגל, מכונת קפה, טוסטר, סירים ומחבתות, תבלינים בסיסיים, ואפילו ביצים טריות מהתרנגולות של מריה! שתי היחידות מדהימות באותה מידה. המיקום נמצא במרחק נסיעה של כ-15 דקות ממרכז העיר חאניה, אך האווירה שקטה וכפרית. יש גם חניה פרטית ונוחה במקום.

Everything was perfect. The area around the apartment was very quiet, and the garden/pool area was very secluded. The pool: 24 degrees (not heated), but in September is nice to swim in. Jacuzzi: we loved it. Room for only 2 if you are planning on staying with 4 in the apartment Bedroom: Bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning was very silent and efficient. Bathroom: nice size and the shower was very nice (rain shower). Do note that in Greece they use water tanks on the roof that warms up in the sun, so you can’t shower very long before the water becomes cold. Living room/kitchen: we didn’t stay that much inside since we loved the pool area so much. But the living room had a flat TV (around 50 inch), with Netflix. The kitchen was well equiped. To make breakfast and lunch. Maria, the hostess was great and was always willing to help. For example she helped organise a person coming to give massage by the pool, as well as giving tips on what to see and do on Crete. She also had a nice welcome gift of local wine and other produce from Crete. All in all, the only sad thing is that we had to leave after the vacation. Ps: we stayed end of September.

I like the unit, it was very clean and up to date. I loved that it was very private and we had a washing machine.

I came to find out that there was NO dryer. The first night of 2 that we stayed there. I did a load of laundry but had to hang them outside at night. They didn't dry until the next day in the afternoon. I did a 2nd load later that day I hung them outside they were taking forever to dry so I asked Maria for a fan but it didn't help. By the time we had to leave at 6am the morning of check out our cloths were still wet. We had to pack them like that which made our luggage heavy and stinky. My question is how you going to have a washing machine and not a dryer? If I would have realized there was no dryer I would have book somewhere else. It actually made things more stressful for us. The first night we wanted to use the jacuzzi but it took an hour for it to heat up so since we showed late because we had to drive 2 hours to get there and the only ferry got us there around 6pm we were tired and just got in when it was luke warm. When my husband was getting out, the step underneath the jacuzzi was wet so he slipped and hit head on the step. He turned out to be ok but bruised and he did have a cut on the back of his head. Maria is very nice and she has a beautiful place but we didn't have a great experience there over all. There is also nothing really close. It seemed like to me that everything like dinner or activities were at least 20 to 30mins away.
