Great place. Really relaxed with only a few rooms, best people working there, especially Silvia is very supportive and great. Stunning pool and view!

if one thing, the pool side rooms are not huge. bathroom is great and we only slept there anyway.

Weather was awful, lately the hotel doesn't have anything to do with it. However, we didn't have energy, water and internet during the complete stay. It seems other hotels are better prepared for those events. Even flushing the toilette became an adventure under those circumstances. Breakfast was the WoW in my whole Mexico trip. It could have been easier to get some fresh tropical fruits like papayas, pineapples, mangos and bring some fresh juices from downtown. Rooms are OK, but way too small and overprice when you compare what you can get directly in other small "resorts" in town. Due to bad weather, you cannot.go easily to town..We kind of miss the whole Zipolite flare being secluded way too far from the places you can get some meals. In general we were glad to leave Zipolite after the storm.

The Casa Kalmar is a beatufiul place. The staff is fantastic the breakfast is terrific. The butterflies on the way to the beach were unexpected but magical. The only downside was having to walk up two flights of stairs.

The walk up the flight of stairs is not for the faint of heart. The road up to the hotel was interesting but worth the adventure.
