Owners wasn’t readily available. No instructions given for basics of apartment including garbage management. Electricity went out in only our unit for unknown reasons and owner wasn’t responsive. We had to go knocking on neighbors doors for help trying to sort the issue. We ended up with no power for a couple of hours and another time the fridge turned off and melted everything unknown reason again and again Left to sort it ourselves. Towels are old and we were only left 3 for 4 people. Chairs are threadbare and nearing falling through point. This rental just isn’t up to standards.

There was a lovely big balcony and the views across Castelsardo were wonderful, especially at sunset. The ground floor room was nice and spacious and the air conditioning was excellent. The apartment was generally well equipped with some nice homely touches.

The upstairs bedroom did not have enough headroom to stand and I unless you were under 4 feet tall, you will bang your head on the low beams so very dangerous really. The aircon doesn't really work that high up either so it was uncomfortable to sleep. There was a nice pool but not only was the gate locked and we had no key and had to climb in to go in it, but we were told off by some woman for not wearing some weird fabric hat on our heads so it put us off going again. There were no instructions or information provided in the apartment at all. Plus no grill, toaster, kettle, microwave and a coffee machine that didn't work. You will need transport to get here as it is not really walking distance to the town unless you are happy to walk up massive hills in roasting heat for possibly 30-40 mins.
